” CHESS!”

This is a fairly simple puzzle which involves forming the letters ‘CHESS!’ with an normal chess (8 x 8 board – having 64 cells) by dividing them into suitable pieces. A possible solution is presented below

Closed King’s Tour on a Chess-Board

This is another classical chess puzzle. In this puzzle, the King moves, starting from any one cell, to all other cells on the chessboard, making legal King moves. In this whole process he should have landed on every cell only once. (So he can make only 64 moves and go to each cell only once).

Closed Knight’s tour on a Chess Board :

This is ONE OF THE TOUGHEST CHESS PUZZLES out there! This is also one of the classical Chess puzzles.

This puzzle is also played on a normal ( 8 x 8 ) Chess-board. The night has to start from any square, then cover all the squares once. No squares to be left out in the tour. All moves must be a valid Knight’s move.

PROTECTING THE ENTIRE CHESS BOARD WITH THE FIRST ROW EIGHT PIECES.

Your task is to use the first-row-pieces only and protect the whole Chess-Board. By protecting, we mean that, wherever a new piece is placed on the Chess-Board, it must be attacked by at least one of our piece.

PLACING OF EIGHT QUEENS IN A CHESS BOARD WITHOUT CUTTING EACH OTHER.

Take the 8 soldiers of your Chess kit. Assume ALL 8 of them are Queens. Now, place these 8 Queens in such a way that no Queen is under attack by another Queen.
Amazingly, for this puzzle, there are 92 solutions !
